After Auron, I thought I'd tackle a harder costume... and boy did I go for a hard one. I absolutely LOVE the Zelda franchise and while Link to the Past is my favourite of them all, the costume on the Twilight Princess version is beyond words to me. I loved agonizing over the details like the gems. I am super super happy with how this costume turned out, even though it takes over 2 hours to do all the makeup, facial hair, and donning the armour (not to mention that it's impossible to drive in).

I competed with this costume in my 2nd cosplay contest ever at Calgary Expo. I was so ridiculously nervous since the judges included

Jessica Nigri, Yaya Han, Ivy Doomkitty, and Okageo. I entered and won the Journeyman category with this guy and more importantly, I got a chance to just hang out with all the awesome cosplayers. It was also my first time performing in a skit (which I voiced) and now I'm addicted to it and it's the best part of cosplay contests to me!

I love the presence of this costume, more than any other cosplays that I have. When you get a good stride going and the cape starts to billow and you get a determined step in your walk, there's really no beating that feeling.

The armour is about 98% wonderflex and check out the slideshow for more details on how I made it. And, as always, if you've got any questions about the build just fire me off a message!!
