Men of Cosplay is a regular panel series that I started doing at conventions after seeing Ivy Doomkitty doing one herself. The message and idea of that panel resonated so strongly with me that I had to start getting one going up here in Canada. The panel mainly allows people to see and talk to some of the men that are doing what some think is a more "girly" thing; makeup, wigs, sewing, dressing up, etc. We are all tired of hearing of younger men thinking about starting cosplaying, but not wanting to, or having zero male role models or people to ask questions to.

The panel features a larger cast of fellow cosplayers, some I first knew personally, some I met the first time while running the panel with them. We rotate through our panelists in order to keep the panel fresh. We also try to record our panels wherever possible so that we can post them online (some cons don't allow it, so we respect that).

If you would like this panel at your convention, please feel free to contact me (tab at the top of the screen). Also, if you are interested in joining us as a panelist, please send me an email as well: we are always happy to add new people to the list!

This is definitely a guy that you want on your team in battle.

He has done many muscled characters like Ryu, Goku, Spiderman, Power Rangers, and Aladdin(?).

Derek
Whitewolf Cosplay and Creations

Known for his Witcher and for being proof that you're never too old to cosplay.

Derek competed and won a contest - on a cruise ship no less... and we all hate him because we're jealous he got to go on said cruise ship.

Everybody loves Negan right? .... Right?

If there is a way to do a crossover cosplay, chances are he's thought about it. He's done a few different Joker variants and they are all beyond fantastic.

If you ever see him at a convention, ask for a picture and have a super fun time with it.

Morgan

Master of magnets. He uses them expertly and can even hold up the enormous Buster Sword.

He's even started getting into electronics so it's only a matter of time until he basically builds a life-size working MegaZord.

Super knowledgeable and always on time!

He is another one of the gentlemen that I've had the privilege of meeting through doing these panels and I'm always amazed by the care he puts in his costumes and how approachable and friendly he is.

Few people in the world have as much fun in cosplay as this guy.

Quirky, always in character, and a huge proponent of "cosplay should be fun", Kyle is a huge asset to our panels and has an attitude that everyone should share.

James is the person that taught me leatherworking and his craft is phenomenal.

He loves using authentic materials in his costumes and the quality and craftsmanship really shows though because of it.
